An Advocacy Call to Peers in Fresno County – #peervoice #beheard #advocate

neurodiversityHere’s a direct and personal call to my peers to self-advocate — and advocate on behalf of peers who aren’t able to attend with #peervoice.

Fresno County is hosting Community Program Planning Process Stakeholder Meetings. That’s a big title (important one too) for a community discussion about the impact of the Mental Health Services Acts (MHSA) programs and their effect in the community.

ALSO *SUPER IMPORTANT TOO*– The Stakeholder Meetings are to get community input for current and future planning.

This is the perfect time to bring your lived experience, advocacy and have a voice in future projects by MHSA for our community of folks living with a brain disorder (aka mental illness).

I’m going to do my best to attend as many as possible. Please join me in this effort. ❤ ❤ ❤
