Fact Check: 5150 Definition Removed From 51Fifty Energy Drink Cans

In an interview with Bethany Clough, Fresno Bee reporter, Carlos Vieira states he decided to remove the partial definition of California Police Code 5150 from his product’s marketing.

“The energy drink was created in 2011. The cans once featured the definition of 5150 on them, but Vieira decided to remove it a while ago.”

Oh, fact checker?

Rhonda and I went shopping at Save Mart last night.

And what to our eyes did appear? What was that … 8 cans where the label did appear?

Fact Check: False

For the record on the shelves right now are stocked 51 Fifty Energy Drink cans with CA Police Code 5150 definition sans the gravely disabled.

We relieved the community of some stigma by purchasing them as proof for the fact.
